WHO WE ARE

Maria Grazia Palmieri is a professional journalist. He has worked for various magazines including Mondadori, Rizzoli, Il Resto del Carlino. He has published 9 novels for the Malipiero publishing house. He conceived and conducted television broadcasts for broadcasters in the Emilia Romagna region and northern Italy starting from 1992 and also for a broadcast broadcast on satellite. He has been conceiving and organizing initiatives and events since 1992 and starting from the same year he has followed local and national press offices.

Cinema, her great passion since she was just a little girl, entered her heart with the films of Francois Truffaut and with the saga of Antonie Doinel, but she has always followed with interest films of very different strands and directions, and is I have also always been passionate about films from the 40s and 50s.

In 2011 the idea was born to create a point of reference for young directors, a Festival that could have a special setting like that of Bazzano and Valsamoggia, a few kilometers from Bologna, the capital of Emilia Romagna, in northern Italy . A festival that stands out for its purposes but also for the location.

In June 2011, a preview of the festival was organized which at the time was only called Bazzacinema, dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini and to the vision of a short film dedicated and made to Bazzano, with the actress Paola Piccioli.
